When Caroline first made a few pieces of simple furniture from solid macrocarpa for the family bach last summer, the idea of one day setting up a business to support her world ranked 17 year-old niece, Alpine ski racer Piera Hudson couldn’t have been further from her mind.

Unable to find what she wanted, Caroline decided to make side-tables for summer mojitos and kitchen barstools which she made from trees that had fallen on the family farm in a storm and hand made her shed.
The furniture proved such a hit with friends, that soon the furniture that are called “cubes” became the catalyst for a successful lifestyle brand Coastal Cubes, designed to be compatible with all kind of homes, happily positioned in an urban apartment, farmhouse or holiday shack.
Almost eight months later, the product range has expanded to cowhide rugs, cowhide ottomans, side-tables, barstools, computer and i-pad covers, cowhide handbags, travel bags and footwear.
