Mt Grey Cheese

Mt Grey Cheese was launched in July and is owned by Elizabeth French. It came about after several years making cheese in the kitchen then off to The New Zealand Cheese School to refine the methods and to scale up the production to a commercial enterprise.

With Family help the factory produces soft to semi-hard cheese, including camembert, brie, a creamy blue, washed rind and a Yorkshire style one. For the Christmas Country Fete there will also be a Spanish style cheese soaked in Ataahua Pinot Noir so keep your eye out.
