NZ and Christchurch author, Fiona Farrell written especially for this project.
Darryl says “Many of these trees have stood as silent witnesses to almost the entire history of Christchurch. They continually show us grace and calm, providing us with the same views we have known for a lifetime; even after the 2011 earthquakes when everything else around us appeared to be a place we knew little of. I am grateful to be able to offer these portraits as a small token of immense appreciation for their presence. We are all indebted to all those who have contributed over the years to Hagley Park and the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, allowing them to flourish and provide us with so much.”
The booklet is available in a limited edition of 500 and has been hand stitched to provide a beautiful finish and is presented in it’s own heavy weight folder.
