When someone builds their own studio out of an old abandoned Woolshed you know there is something interesting going on.
Libby Baxter (originally from Waiau) is our 2013 guest artist from Ashburton and is an interesting emerging talent amongst printmakers. She converted an old Woolshed into her own gallery to specialise in printmaking and mixed media works. [wpspoiler name=”READ MORE” closebtn=”CLOSE”]
It is a perfect setup for the artist with her inspiration being drawn from the surrounding natural landscape she lives, works and plays in. We look forward to seeing some great new pieces from her at this years Fête.
