Reform Furniture is a Christchurch based company, established and run by 21 year old student Kate Ormsby.
Kate felt there was a gap in the market when it came to handmade furniture which was both stylish and affordable. She wanted to create pieces which younger people, like herself, would want to have in their homes.
Reform focusses on using locally sourced and recycled materials. Kate often spends her weekends searching through salvage yards to find timber she can transform. Therefore each piece created is unique. Reform is known for its desks, although the addition of bedside and coffee tables has proven popular.
